![]() ![]() More likely, this may have been a viral marketing ploy to create buzz in advance of the DF-100’s official reveal during the parade. On the face of it, the PLARF accidentally leaked footage of heretofore secret missile. But a week earlier on September 25 the PLA Rocket Force posted a video montage including a two-second clip of the launch from a desert test site of a “CJ-100” missile which had never been seen before- then removed that segment shortly afterward. The DF-100’s launch canisters afforded no glimpse of the missiles supposedly inside. So what on Earth is the CJ-100 or DF-100? and that VIRTUAL GAME CABINET feature, um, cool, for a minute.įor the most part, it plays great but there’s no need to purchase the unlimited plays when it’s soo easy to play and get all the upgrades for free. The CJ-designator, for Cháng Jiàn (“Long Sword”), is used for a land-attack cruise missile, which skim close to the earth’s surface over hundreds of miles. The game has no new missile types to offer or any other unlockables to strive for. but the down side is once you get fully upgraded (which you can do rather quickly) that’s it. Meaning, no more limit to your ballistic stockpile. It’s actually brilliant game play wise, the new idea of the bunkers rebuilding themselves is great and the missile reload delay, also a nice touch. Gone is the cumbersome trackball to aim with, just touch and the missiles auto target that location. MC:RECHARGED is a nice simplistic, vector graphic inspired, reboot of the classic Atari game. Like with any reimagined/updated arcade classic, there is a fine line that can be crossed where a new idea goes to far. I feel like it has to be a glitch and hope it is because I hate it so much. There is one called fast already which makes your bullets really fast but I don’t know what rapid does other than the opposite of it’s name. All the other letters help you in one way or another but this one hurts you but it says Rapid as if it was going to increase something but it doesn’t. You reload lots slower with this power up I don’t get it. It stands for Rapid but it doesn’t do anything and actually seems to give you a de-buff for a bit. It’s a box that flies sideways and has a letter on it telling you it’s ability. ![]() My major problem I have with it though is the fact that there are these power ups in the game, like the mega or the bomb. Only problem I have with it is that I wish I could keep upgrading something or there was more too it after you maxed out the upgrades but luckily I haven’t reached that point yet but am very close. Use the new augmented reality feature to project your gameplay to a virtual arcade cabinet and take your missile destruction to new heights! ![]() New powerup system takes points earned and allows them to be used to upgrade all aspects of gameplay to get an edge and achieve the highest scores.Ĭompete in global online leaderboards and aim to claim bragging rights as the top missile commander.īetter yourself with each game played and work towards besting the toughest challenges! Missile Command: Recharged will appeal to those that fondly remember playing the original or its many iterations, and a whole new generation of mobile gamers that are looking for fast-paced, pick-up-and play, arcade goodness.ĭon’t just target missiles – take aim at all-new powerups to survive longer with defensive measures, silo repair, or a screen-clearing special blast. Launch counter-missiles to protect your base and target powerups to gain an edge at critical moments.
